3 Years Later - Work in progress

My first, and only, work in progress I intend to upload to deviantart. I'm not going to let an artblock make me miss this little 'anniversary'. So I'll upload as it is now, and return to it when my creativity kicks back into gear.

Anyway. History crash course.
On February 12th, I created my first ever digital art piece. Before then, all I did was doodle cars... and that's about it. After rediscovering Spyro, I found this place looking for info/screenshots, and I found a wee artist that goes by Cynder-And-Spyro-Fan. After seeing the weird DotD sock comic, I decided to look even further into the Spryo community.

Eventually, I was inspired to randomly doodle my own dragon. In paint no less. The result ([link]) was enough to make me think 'I could get into this'. So along came Valentines day. I decided I wanted to give digital art a shot, so I went and downloaded GIMP. I created a little companion for my blue dude, I Gimp'shopped a Spyro screenshot to use as a background (
[link] ), and then the final image was uploaded to Gamespot on the 14th.

From this moment, they became known as Lanser and Fusha. For the rest of '09, they were fan characters in the worst Spyro fanfic of all time. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote it, but trust me, you do not want to read it, it was terrible. Nevertheless, I stuck with the dragons. Over the period of 3 years, I dropped all the fanfic stuff, and I slowly transformed them into original characters.

And so here they are today, fully fleshed original characters in a brand new story, in a whole world of their own. While they retained a few a handful of personality traits, they are completely new characters in all but name and colour.
